Well, you may think that there is a difference between these two things, but if I’m being completely honest with you. Your right! Your business and your brand are two completely different things and here is why.
Business is problem-solving you do for your ideal client aviator AKA ICA.
The brand is the emotions that your business gives your ICA.
What the heck do emotions have to do with a brand? Everything bestie.
You want your ICA to feel away when they come across your store, also known as your social media. Here are some tips on how you can bring emotions to your online identity and spruce up your virtual storefront.
Find what platform you want to show up on this can be what you are comfortable with. Say you can only mentally handle Instagram for now then add on more. I know how hard it is to show up online so stick with one to start with so you can build momentum. Keeping in mind going viral is not the key to success. Slow and steady wins the race but you not racing Bestie.
Once you have found which platform or platforms you are ready to build your storefront aka your online identity. Lots of metaphors are used here because why not? You have to figure out how you’re going to show up and what you are comfortable with. Deciding if showing your face is okay and if so are you going to talk or just selfies and text? This is super important so you don’t get overwhelmed with social media and want to throw in the towel.
